Alternatives to YouTube

YouTube is good.  No doubt about it.  But if you come to think about it, aside from the restrictions to 10-minute video playtime, there are more to it behind the scene.  Anyway, let us not focus on that.  I just want to list here my YouTube alternatives.   I just thought of these sites randomly, so this list is not in any particular order.

Alternatives to Blogger and WordPress

Do you want to have a blog?

A free blog?  

Yup... Blogger and WordPress are always there for us bloggers.

But sometimes, using the same old free hosting sites used by most people makes it very very common.  So, as an option to the great Blogger and WordPress, here are some alternatives for you.  Do take note that this list is in no particular order.

Alternatives to OneManga and MangaStream

I admit, I was also a great fan of OneManga.  But they shutdown for some "commercial" reasons.  So I got no choice but to seek other sites of manga pleasure.  

Best one I found is MangaStream.  

But recently, it seems that there are a lot of instances that other manga websites were able to release manga episodes earlier than MangaStream.  So, better not stick to one website alone.

Here is a dozen alternative that I have found over the net.  Again, this list is in no particular order.  But I must express that the first 2 in the list are my best alternatives.

Alternative to Microsoft Office

You see, I happened to have bought a laptop that is pre-installed with Windows 7 and a trial version of Microsoft Office 2010.  And before the trial version expired, I had to look for an alternative for this.   I am very used to using MS Office.  But I dont want to buy one for my personal use.  So instead of buying a new licence, I'd go for the FREE alternatives.

Of the above list, I picked OpenOffice first.  Again, it is free.  I tried it once, and never uninstalled the thing.  It suits me very well.  So I was not able to try the other alternatives.  Be the first to try them yourself.
