K-Lite Codec - a great help for me!

There were times that I need to watch some documentary films online.  I need to review some things for a my studies.    Finding the documentaries were easy.  Google is there for me to help.  But it was playing it that makes it difficult.

I can see my brother's computer playing the movies so well.  But how come mine isn't able to do so.  The I realized it has something to do with my media software.

The answer was actually just under my nose:  K-Lite Codec.  An all-codec-in-a-single-pack.

This was my experience years and years ago.  I am trying to blog about this today because I still see people having the same problem.  This should solve it easily.

Right now, the latest version is 6.6.0 already!  Wow!  This codec doesn't help you with the movies only.  It also applies audio files as well.   Read on the features of K-Lite Codec below.

How to Clean-up Manga Scans - a Video

How to Clean-up Manga Scans

I am finished reading One Piece 600 and Naruto 513.  Kenichi and Koukin are still fighting at episode 402.  In Fairy Tail 204, the Mage Exam has just started.  Bleach 424 will only be out on the 27th Oct 2010.  They are on 2 week hiatus.  And Itagaki's fight with Karasawa was pegged at Hajime no Ippo 906.

These are just some of the Mangas that I am following.  I bet somebody out there also have the same list as mine.  But I still have some that i did not add in the above list.

I read manga for the story within, and I am enjoying it.  Some are very nice and neat;  some with colors; some are poorly drawn; some even have pixelized;  and some were not cleaned well.

HTML Color Code Generator

Recognizing colors is definitely easy.  A person can identify colors right away by just looking at it.  But in website development, there is a big twist.  Almost all websites, including blogs, use HTML color codes to use specific colors.  We can always use the  HTML Color Code Chart (posted earlier).  Browse over to see which colors you would like to apply into your blog or website.

Another faster option is use an HTML Color Code Generator.   Here it is, try it!

Sci Dama Board : how does it look like?

Yesterday,  my 10 year old daughter, Ate Bon, asked me and my wife to make a Sci Dama Board for her.  She need it in school the following day because she is a contestant to the sci dama contest.

She already bought an illustration board and permanent markers for this project, so how could we ever say no.  After all, even if this new to us, I could always ask my Kuya Google to help me out on how it looks like.   (The truth is, I never heard of this during my school days.  We only played chess or dama at the kanto opposite of the public market.)  :D
