Spring Cleaning

We were trying to do some cleaning in the house before the New Year comes. Sad to say, I had to throw away some old old things that I have been keeping for the past years.

Yes, you can call me a "Pack Rat".

Old paperworks were the first ones to go. I did not have to burn them. I sold them to a junkshop. Old plastic containers were sold also.

My old acoustic guitar... before I threw it, I asked my Uncle if he'd want it. Its neck actually snapped some years ago. But I had it fixed with two wood screws and an elmer's glue. Works fine. Still sound good. But somehow the strings becomes deeper to press. Must have been the broken neck. Anyway, my Uncle wants it. He is now the new guitar man! :D

Old books.... no! This did not go to the bins. I saved them for my upcoming mini library in the attic.

Old diskettes.... some blank, some where full. I threw away all of them. Nobody uses diskettes nowadays... I think.

My stamp albums, my stamp collection. Of course they'll go to my not-yet-constructed mini-library.

My paperworks and bookbinded research on mushroom culture... reserved for the not-yet-constructed mini-library.

Old recipe clippings from newspapers way back 15 years ago... reserved for the not-yet-constructed mini-library.

What's now left are the empty wine bottles. My wife had collected them a few years back. She wanted to decorate these and use as flower vases. Some of them are very nice enough to be displace as it is. But there's too many of them.

Hence, she decided to sell them. If you would like to buy some, let me know. These are good collectible wine bottles.
